Finally the sun made a short, but so very welcome, appearance on Sunday. England, or at least the Midlands sure live up to the reputation, it's been mostly gray and damp in the past month. I guess that's why I've been less (camera) trigger happy than normal.
As my camera was getting rest, I was working on some customs for my Pinkies. I've just finished a cheongsum, a jacket and the green dress in the photo. I've also have two pairs of custom legs in the process, I hope to finish them this week. Fingers crossed. Because I've just started work on pinky-street.com version 4.0 and that's going to take most of my free time now. Maybe it'd be better if the weather stayed gray? XD
Risa, possibly the most neglected Pinky. Perhaps, too strong a personality for majority of Pinky:st fans?
My distraction of choice on the (too long) flight to and from Cyprus was this book. It's set in Japan, and since it was published in 1905 or so, I'm assuming that's when the story takes place. It's narrated by a house cat, who observes his masters and the people they come in contact with. It's dry type of humour, not belly laughs here, but you do smirk!
The English title is not very accurate, in Japanese it is "吾輩は猫である", which does not translate very well. Interestingly enough, this is a cult book, with many pop references to it, among them a song by Shonen Knife and exact quote of the title in Azumanga Daioh.
