Finally the sun made a short, but so very welcome, appearance on Sunday. England, or at least the Midlands sure live up to the reputation, it's been mostly gray and damp in the past month. I guess that's why I've been less (camera) trigger happy than normal.

As my camera was getting rest, I was working on some customs for my Pinkies. I've just finished a cheongsum, a jacket and the green dress in the photo. I've also have two pairs of custom legs in the process, I hope to finish them this week. Fingers crossed. Because I've just started work on pinky-street.com version 4.0 and that's going to take most of my free time now. Maybe it'd be better if the weather stayed gray? XD

I really want to get a new digital SLR for myself. While in Cyprus, my trusty Powershot A95 suffered a drop - just me not paying attention and the strap slid off my wrist DOH!  I had an EOS to shoot with (for work) which I really liked, plus there are a lot of inexpensive adapters available for it, like the macro adapter I used to take this picture with. One bad thing about EOS is the LCD which isn't "flippable" like it is on my A95. I tend to take a lot of photos from below (low point of view) and having to practically lie flat on the ground to do so, isn't always an option.

Amazingly enough, my A95 still works, it's got 2 battered corners, and the shutter button seems a little off, like you need to press harder to take a photo, but I can't complain, I was sure it would be completely broken. So actually, I'm very lucky.

I also want a flash, lights, reflectors, extra lens, and a light tent. Goody, Christmas's around the corner! XD
